Yvette Cooper

Yvette Cooper (born March 20, 1969) is a Labour politician in the United Kingdom. She has been the member of Parliament for Pontefract and Castleford since the 1997 election. She is currently a Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State at the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister.

She is married to Ed Balls, MP for Normanton and former advisor to the Treasury.
