Yvon Poitras

Yvon Poitras is a Canadian politician and lobbyist.

He was a member of the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick where he served as a Progressive Conservative member. He was Minister of Municipal Affairs from after the 1982 election until 1985 under Premier Richard Hatfield. Recently, he has served as president of the New Brunswick Forest Products Association.

Poitras has announced that he is considering a run for the Canadian House of Commons as a Conservative in the next federal election.
